Stor-Svuku er den høyeste toppen i Femundsmarka med sine 1416 moh. Toppen ruver markant i det ellers ganske flate skogsterrenget i området rundt. Dette gjør dermed at toppen er et flott utsiktspunkt. Svukuriset er nok det vanligste utgangspunktet for denne turen. Fra DNT-hytta er det T-merket rute de rundt 600 høydemeterne til toppen. Vi besteg toppen fra andre siden som en avveksling fra vår fisketur i Grøtådalen. Turen gikk fra Grøtådalen, via landemerket Oasen og derfra direkte opp til toppen.

Fra toppen kan man se store deler av Femunden. Det vil si fra nordenden i Synnervika og ned til "øyet" Store Sollerøya. Det er relativt langt mellom de markante fjelltoppene i området rundt, men Viglfjella, Flenskamban, Sålekinna, Elgpiggen, Rendalssølen og Elgåhogna kan sees på klare dager.

Vi var på toppen en varm augustdag, så det var dessverre litt dis som skygget for toppene lengst unna . Under følger noen panoramabilder med og uten påførte navn på toppene rundt.
