Juni betyr lange og lyse dager i Trøndelag. Hanne og jeg tok en helgetur til Brungmarka i praktfullt sommervær. Solnedgangen fra toppen av Rensfjellet ble observert oppe på toppen av varden godt kamuflert i en jervenduk. Dette ble en helg med noen magiske og stemningsfulle opplevelser i et veldig bynært terreng.

Rensfjellet er det høyeste punktet i Brungmarka. For de som ikke er så godt kjent i området er Brungmarka det store fjellområdet mellom Gauldalen i vest og Selbu i øst. Rensfjellet har jeg faktisk prøvd å komme meg opp på flere ganger, men forhold og utganspunkt har gjort at dette har vært vanskelig ved tidligere turer. Det var derfor på tide med en didikert tur for å nå toppen av dette fjellet.

Rensfjellet er overhodet ikke noe vanskelig tilgjengelig fjell. Toppen er lett å bestige fra de fleste kanter . Hanne og jeg valgte å gå fra Håen, dvs. fra den lange grusveien inn Lundadalen fra Lundamo. Det ble en kort helgetur fra lørdag til søndag. Det gode juni-været i Trøndelag denne sommeren hadde vart en god stund, og så også til å holde helt fint også denne helgen. Det var knusk tørt i terrenget, og flere steder var utrolig nok vann eller tjern som var avmerket på kartet helt borte.

Starten på turen gikk fra Kråklivollen og inn til NTNUI-koia Kråklikåten. Denne koia eller kåten har en spesiell beliggenhet der den ligger midt i en stor sving på bekken som renner forbi. Dette fører til at gulvet på koia blir vasket rent under hver vårløsning . Kråklikåten var en koselig koie. En koie vi garantert skal tilbake til om ikke så lenge.

Fra Kråklikåten gikk vi videre østover, over myrene nedenfor Nyhusvollen og videre bort til foten av Rensfjellet. Den store bekken i Oksdalen ble passert på et punkt der det var lagt ut en provisorisk bro. Det var flere materialer som lå på den ene siden, så her så det ut som om at det var planer om en mer permanent løsning. Leirplass fant vi et stykke opp i fjellsiden i retning Rensfjellet. Leirplassen var like ved en av bekkene som renner ned til Oksdalen. Her oppe i fjellsiden kunne vi ha kveldssola en lang periode utover kvelden.

Senere på kvelden bestemte vi oss for å ta turen opp til Rensfjellet før solnedgang. Vi la i vei i god tid før de siste solstrålene ville bli borte bak Fosenalpene i nordvest.

Det ble noen stemningsfulle timer på toppen av varden på Rensfjellet med utsikt mot den oransje og røde sola som dalte sakte nedover bak fjellene på Fosen. Det er ikke lenge sola er under horisonten i juni, men etter at sola hadde gått ned pakket vi sammen fjellduken og gikk ned igjen til teltet ved Oksdalen.

Det er verdt å legge til at man kan se mangfoldige kvadratkilometre av Midt-Norge fra toppen av Rensfjellet.. Skarvan og Sylan i øst og Trollheimen langt der borte i vest.

Tilbake ved teltet ble dagens middagsdessert tilberedt i form av "Ristepannekaker". Hmm... herlig!

Jervespor?

På returen til Håen og bilen på søndag la vi turen om Samsjøens bredder for å gå grusveien tilbake til bilen. Som bildet over viser tror vi at vi så et Jervespor over en tørr myr på veien ned til Samsjøen.

Juni-været var fortsatt like fint, og det hadde vært nok en flott tur i Brungmarka. Et stort og spennende område nesten rett utenfor "stuedøra" til de fleste "Trondhjæmere".
