Den andre dagen på tur ble brukt til å komme seg opp på 3168 moh og innlosjere seg på hytta "Tette Rousse". Det så ut som om teltet skulle forbli liggende ubrukt nederst i sekken. Tette Rousse var en koselig hytte med relativt lite besøk. Dette var kanskje mye på grunn av det dårlige været i den perioden vi var der, men det er lov å håpe. Det ble mange ventetimer inne på hytta der kortspillet "President" hjalp oss igjennom flere av dem.

På mandag stod det en kort dagsetappe for tur. Turen opp til Tette Rousse var på kun noen få kilometre i luftlinje og 399 høydemetre. Været var skiftende, men stort sett oppholdsvær når vi gikk. Skydekket hang på ca . 3400 meter.

Ryggen oppover ble greit forsert. Den eneste forstyrrelsen var noen skarpe vindkast i ny og ne. Jeg var i dårlig form med tanke på beina, så jeg slet meg oppover. Formen var heldigvis fin med tanke på høyden

Da vi kom fram til hytta på Tette Rousse ble det slik at vi innlosjerte oss på ei hytte for nok en natt. Det så ut til at teltene skulle fungere som ekstra "brems" i sekkene på denne turen..
