Snasahögarna, Tväråklumpen og Getryggen er et populært toppturmål i grensetraktene rundt Storlien. Her drives det faktisk Heliskiing på kommersiell basis, og forrige helg ble det arrangert "Skandinavisk cup" i skibestigning i disse fjellene. Den høyeste toppen, Storsnasen rager nesten 1463 meter over havflaten.

Det sprutregnet da vi forlot Trondheim med retning for Meråker og Storlien. Jeg må innrømme at jeg lurte på hvordan denne dagen ville fortone seg oppi fjellheimen. Marius, Sigbjørn, Stian og jeg mistet heldigvis ikke motet og det skulle etter hvert vise seg at vi reiste på helt riktig plass denne grå fastelavensdagen. "Lykke til" til de som skulle gå "Marka rundt" i Bymarka denne dagen...

Bilen ble parkert på veien innover til Storulvåen. Skydekket hang fortsatt godt nedover fjellsidene . Ingen topper var synlige, men de "lokale" guidene Sigbjørn og Stian pekte likevel oppover i tåkehavet og fortalte om nedkjøringsmulighetene . Like før at alle var klare til avmarsj oppdaget Marius at innerstøvlene lå igjen hjemme i Trondheim. Hvilken nedtur! Heldigvis for Marius hadde han et pledd liggende bak i bilen, og etter litt hjelp fra Stian og en god mengde teip var noen provisoriske innersko ordnet. De bød antagelig ikke på den aller beste komforten, men de sørget for at Marius ikke ble sittende igjen i bilen for å vente på oss andre.

Det hadde blåst hardt i området så føret var av det harde slaget. Innmarsjen opp den slake motbakken gikk derfor som en lek. Klokken 1230 stod vi på toppen av Söre-Tväråklumpen (1409 moh). Været hadde lettet en god del og sola var på nippet til å slippe igjennom det tynne skylaget . "Bergsguiden" Stian sonderte terrenget for en passende nedkjøring. Valget falt til slutt på østflanken og ned en renne på sørsida i retning Getryggen. Føret og kjørelyset kunne absolutt vært bedre, så det var litt vanskelig å slippe seg helt løs nedover i renna..

Marius hadde dessverre fått nok av de provisoriske innerstøvlene, og returnerte til bilen da vi 3 resterende tok fatt på bakken opp mot Getryggen (1389 moh). På vei nedover ringte vi til Marius som kjørte noen hundre meter lenger inn mot Storulvåen for å plukke oss opp. Da vi pakket sammen skia skinte sola og vi var glade og fornøyde med dagens innsats. Nå var det dags for flesk og "folk-öl" på Konsumen ved Storlien..
