Du er ikke en ordentlig koiegjenger før du har vært på NTNUI-koia Mortenskåten. Godt skjult i terrenget ligger den der som en stor, bevokst maurtue. Vi tok en spontantur lørdag kveld, og fikk ladet batteriene litt før en ny uke setter i gang.

Som du kanskje skjønner, er Mortenskåten en kultkoie i NTNUI-miljøet. En kåte med sjel, og en plass som man stadig vender tilbake til. Når vi derfor bestemte oss for å ta en spontantur lørdag ettermiddag, var ikke valget vanskelig.
Mortenskåten ligger i nærheten av Singsås, på vegen fra Støren til Røros. Bilturen tar ca. 1,5 time, mens gårturen inn til kåta tar i underkant av en halvtime. En lett tilgjengelig koie, med andre ord
. Terrenget rundt er en god blanding av høyfjell og skog, et terreng som fasinerer meg jo mer jeg ferdes i Trøndelag

Ingen skal påstå at Mortenskåten akkurat ruver i terrenget.... Pipa i NTNUI-farger er det eneste som peker seg ut.
For vår del ble det ikke tid til stort annet enn god mat og en god natts søvn. I en slik jordgamme blir man garantert ikke vekket av solstråler om morgenen... Etter en god frokost med tilhørende svartkaffe, ble nesa vendt mot Trondheim igjen
. Altfor tidlig, dessverre. Men eksamenstida er det lite en får gjort med. En ting er iallfall sikkert. Vi kommer tilbake, Morten!
