 To klassikere fra toppen av Trollstigen. Disse toppene er nok mer populære med ski på beina, men denne gangen tok vi turen på sommerføre og i strålende solskinn. Toppen av Finnan ble besøkt først. På returen ble det en avstikker opp til Alnestinden. God sikt denne dagen ga et vidt utsyn mot omkringliggende ville og kvasse Romsdalstinder. |

 Fløtatinden er antagelig Øksendalens skitopp nummer 1. Mange velger å gå opp og kjøre ned på samme sted. Det vil si via Saufjellet. Vi prøvde oss på en alternativ nedkjøring ned til Ljøsåbotnen mellom Fløtatind og Trondskjortetind. Her er nedkjøringen brattere, men gir dessverre en ekstra oppoverbakke før man kan sette utfor den siste fjellsiden ned til Brandstadbu. Litt flatt lys gav ikke de beste forholdene denne dagen, men området og spesielt rennene på Trondskjortetind skal utforskes nærmere ved neste mulighet. |

 Søndag 4.januar satt vi oss i bilen mot Eresfjord og Skjorta. Snøen hadde lavet ned i et par dager og pudderalarmen hadde gått. Dagen startet flott, men dessverre skyet det mer og mer over. Lyset ble flatere og flatere, og toppen av Skjorta lå innpakket oppe i skydekket. Toppen ble derfor ikke besøkt denne gangen. Vi startet istedenfor nedkjøringen fra ca. 1550 moh. Legger ut noen bilder fra oppstigningen som viser det blasse januarlyset speile seg på karakteristiske fjelltopper rundt Eresfjord og omegn. |

 "Skjorta" er unektelig et litt merkelig navn på en fjelltopp. Jeg har lenge lurt på hvorfor nettopp dette navnet havnet på denne kjente skitoppen innerst i Eresfjorden. Dette var min aller første tur til Eresfjord, så jeg så frem til å se toppen med egne øyne. Når jeg fikk øye på toppen, på vei innover langs fjorden lørdag kveld var det ikke vanskelig å forstå hvorfor den bærer dette navnet. Skjorta ser kort og greit ut som baksiden på en skjorte, med krave, skuldre og i vintersesongen, et langt hvitt bakstykke. Turværet viste seg fra sin beste siden denne april søndagen. Det var bare å nyte både opp og nedkjøringen fra vanninntaket nede i Kanndalen. 4,5 time tok turen tur-retur i et jevnt tempo.

 Sesongen siste skitur på en strålende og varm dag til to ski-klassikere i Romsdalsalpene. Vi startet ved veien like ved Alnesreset og la kursen rett mot Finnan og oppstigning via sørøstryggen. Fra toppen av Finnan var det vid utsikt selv det var litt disig denne dagen. Alnestinden ble besteget via nordryggen før vi gjorde klart for rundt 800 høydemetre med sløsj-nedkjøring tilbake til bilen. |

 Egentlig har jeg et lite prinsipp om aldri å gå to ganger samme sted når jeg er ute på tur. Det var likevel ikke vanskelig overse dette når maisola og sommerlige temperaturer fristet til en retur til Fløtatinden. Denne toppen som troner i hvit kappe innerst i Øksendalen selv langt ute på vårparten. Det ble en flott tur i "baris" og shorts og en flott nedkjøring i "slush". Sola varmet godt i fjellsiden, men det var fortsatt faste og fine forhold. |
