Utsikten var ikke akkurat på topp når vi startet ved Koldedalsvatnet med kurs for Uranostind. Toppen ble besteget via normalruta, dvs. via Uranosbreen og opp nordryggen. Slingsbytinden som ligger rett nord for Uranostinden ble også besøkt. Nysnø på toppene over 1900 meter.

Toppen er uten navn på 1: 50 000 kartet, men like fullt en 2000-meters topp. På toppen av Slingsbytinden lettet tåka et øyeblikk og vi fikk et lite innblikk i toppens enorme utsikt mot Falketind og Stølsnostind i sørvest. Returen skjedde samme vei.
