Randone�-skia hadde st�tt ubrukt hittil i p�sken. 1.p�skedag var jeg p� vei opp til Trondheim med tro om at det skulle forbli slik. Oppover �sterdalen oppdaget jeg tilfeldigvis en sv�rt lovende v�rmelding for midt-norge 2.p�skedag. Bilturen ble derfor isteden lagt til Oppdal og Storlidalen. Den kvelden la jeg meg i soveposen med en stemningsfull solnedgang i vest med h�p om en str�lende morgendag. Tidlig morgenen etter var jeg p� vei nedover Storhaugen i silkef�re.

Klokken var rundt sju n�r jeg la meg til i posen et kort steinkast fra Dalsvatnet og veien inn til B�rdsg�rden. Det klare v�ret varslet om at jeg hadde en frisk natt i vente, men at den skulle bli s� frisk som den ble hadde jeg ikke trodd p� forh�nd. 19 minusgrader viste termometeret p� morgenkvisten. Jeg hadde satt klokka p� ringing 0530, og hadde nesten lagt opp til en alpin start p� dagen . Det var kanskje litt for optimistisk for s�vnen forsvant ikke s� raskt som jeg hadde h�pet. Klokka ble 0600 f�r jeg fyrte opp primusen for en rask frokost.

"P� vestsiden av elva Vind�la ligger flere fristende topper, men Storhaugen utmerker seg som den fineste skituren. Her er det f�rst og fremst muligheten for fin kj�ring og gode sn�forhold som trekker. Du spenner p� deg skiene ved bilen og kan kj�re helt ned."

Kveldsstemning over H�a vest for �ngardsvatnet fra soveposen ved Dalsvatnet.

Klokken 0730 la jeg i vei oppover mot Storhaugen i et godt lag med l�s nysn�. Det var ganske kj�lig i starten, men temperaturen steg i takt med h�ydemeterne og oppe ved tregrensa var det etter hvert blitt en ganske behagelig temperatur. Oppover i nordsida ble det hardere og hardere desto lenger opp jeg kom . Noen isvuller lurte ogs� under det nye sn�laget. Jeg krysset meg oppover lia samtidig som utsikten mot kjente Trollheimen og Innerdalstopper �pnebarte seg mer og mer.

Innerdalstopper sett fra Storhaugen. Storsomrungsnebba, Storsalen, T�rnfjell, Innerdalst�rnet og Kringleh�a til h�yre.

Etter litt under 2 timer stod jeg ved toppvarden og kunne speide utover mot et titalls ruvende Trollheimen-topper. Nedkj�ringen ble lagt i �sthellingen. Denne siden hadde ligget godt i le og b�d p� optimalt pudderf�re. Et passe lag med pudder over et hardt og slett underlag. Det var en fryd og sette svinger i et hvitt og uber�rt teppe. Etter at jeg hadde kj�rt ned den f�rste bakken ble jeg ivrig, og jeg ville gjerne klatre litt opp igjen for � kj�re resten av h�ydemetrene i en omgang. Jeg satte skia p� sekken og gikk avg�rde opp mot toppen lengst ut mot Storlidalen. Det gikk fint en god stund oppover, men til slutt kom jeg til en hard og isete rygg . Is�ks og stegjern var dessverre frav�rende i sekken, s� det fors�ket m�tte jeg ganske raskt gi opp. Det holdt faktisk p� � g� litt galt da jeg plutselig mistet fottaket og seilte noen meter nedover sn�bakken.

Ferdig signert....

Jeg spente p� meg skia p� ny og kom meg inn p� rett spor . F�ret var fortsatt helt up�klagelig. F�lelsen av � cruise nedover i fj�rlett sn� i str�lende solskinn er helt ubeskrivelig. Det siste stykket ble kj�rt mer eller mindre i ett, og etter mange men allikevel for f� svinger stod jeg nede p� flata ved Vinnd�la. Jeg ble st�ende en stund � kikke opp p� det enslige sporet som var nettopp var blitt satt nedover. Det var vakre linjer om jeg f� si det selv...

"Signering" av den nord�stvendte fjellsiden ned mot Storlidalen.

Herfra var det noen f� hundre meter med dypsn�-trasking f�r jeg n�dde veien og tilbake ved bilen. Totalt tok turen dr�ye 3 timer, og klokken 1045 var jeg p� vei mot Trondheim godt forn�yd med dagens innsats og opplevelser.
